Risk assessments
- Providing project leadership and technical expertise for:
- Delivery Services
- Technology related Risk Assessments; and
- Specific risk assessments related to applications under development or the introduction of new features or system components to the overall Enterprise Architecture.
- Follow standard business processes to document risks, identify gaps, resolve compliance issues, and make recommendations for mitigating risks.
- Assess current architecture and the deployed technologies used to provide security.
Enterprise Architecture
- Provide technical input, including the testing and assessment of new technologies that will enhance our security architecture.
- A key element will be to develop and architect solutions to ensure that key information assets are protected should the external security perimeter be compromised.

Experience: To be considered for this position candidates must possess the following mandatory skills and experiences:
- The successful candidate should possess a minimum of eight years of IT background and experience
- Five or more years experience conducting security risk assessments that involve IT systems, networks, data center operations, and remote access technology.
- Five or more years experience implementing security polices standards and procedures for larger scale government or private company businesses.
- Demonstrable security expertise in at least two of the following technical areas:
- Active Directory
- Netegrity/ Siteminder
- Linux
- Unix
- VMWare
Candidates with the following desirable experiences will be considered first:
- Experience or formal training in conducting computer security audits.
- Experience or formal training in risk analysis methods.
- Experience in developing Disaster Recovery Plans for Computer Centers and/or large scale Networks or IT Systems.
- A working knowledge of NIST security controls.
- Recognized Information Security or Controls qualifications (CISM, CISSP, CISA).
- Experience with UNISYS or IBM mainframe platforms.
- Good project management and inter-personal communication skills as demonstrated by previous experience in managing larger scale, complex projects.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills that can be supported by offering samples for evaluation during the selection process.
