Our client, a NYC based spot trading firm, seeks a logistics analyst with international experience in the shipping of chemicals. The logistics analyst will work closely with the Manager of Logistics and Operations to allow smooth deliver of the chemicals. This position will require heavy documentation work in the form of contracts and letters of credits. International experience with letters of credit are extremely important. Experience: 7-12years experience as logistic analyst
heavy documentation work (Oceanic Transport)
Ability to identify risks related to liquid bulk cargo and working with surveyors to coordinate the proper testing procedures for the vessel tanks
Experience chartering ocean tankers and chartering party bills of lading
Experience with foreign to foreign shipments
Letters of credit
Preparing documentation for deliver of petrochemicals
