Support highly volatile front office Equities and Prime Services Production environment with over 2400 servers.
Suggest and implement technical solutions that ensure control, manageability and integrity of the environment to maximize service availability to the users.
Provide a point of contact for dealing with and resolving complex faults and issues.
Work Experience:
5 + years of experience with UNIX.
Experience working on a large multi-disciplinary project.
5 + years of experience with Linux and Network troubleshooting skills
Experience: Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Experience with Iplanet, weblogic web servers.
Support 24 * 7 front office trading environment.
Initiative, decisiveness and self-motivation.
Minimum of 3 years in a large UNIX environment working in a server with VCS clusters.
Experience with being on-call and working a shift-based Rota, and appreciation of weekend working practices and change management.
Ability to manage own workload and work independently for prolonged periods.
