We have an immediate need for a Project Manager - SCRUM Master
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Agile / Scrum Master/Project Manager works with senior leadership
and vendors taking full responsibility for the development and ongoing
enhancement of one or more of our web-based voice and video education
products.
Expected Responsibilities:
- Deliver design and development projects on time, on budget, with
a delighted team
- Create and track project plans
- Perform business analysis and write specifications
- Follow process standards to meet project objectives
- Develop project estimates
- Manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage teams of up to 2-8 people including designers,
architects, developers, QA, and 3rd party resources,
- Provide motivation and direction to the team
- Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria
to the team
- Manage customer, third-party partner and vendor relationships as
necessary
- Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and
decisions to senior management
- Set project quality and performance standards
- Experience working on web 2.0 and/or social networking
applications is not required but would be a bonus
Relevant Skills/Experience:
- Bachelors degree
- AGILE a MUST
- 2+ years in role of project manager using a formal software
development lifecycle
- Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from concept to
delivery
- Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ individuals
- Demonstrated leadership capacity (teams of 5 or more in
multi-disciplinary environments-e.g., technology, user experience,
design)
