Longterm temporary position is available immediately for an experienced Unix Network Administrator. This position will run for approximately 1 & 1/2 years (possibly longer). The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: Unix System Administrator Experience, one to two years working as a Unix system Administrator, basic shell scripting ( Bourne shell, or Korn shell, or C shell ), Microsoft Windows experience, should be able to generate Windows server OS, should know how to use Microsoft Excel and Word, should possess knowledge of Sun Solaris 8, 9 or 10 Unix operating system, should possess Microsoft IIS experience, Unix shell scripting ( awk scripts, pearl scripts ), should possess Experience with Legato networker, experience with Veritas Volume Manager. There will be a full background investigation conducted on candidates including: Social Security Trace, Drug screen, Criminal Conviction, and a Civil Litigation check.
