C# / .NET Development; WPF / WCF; Winforms; Municipal/Government Sector Responsibilities:We are looking for a candidate the has strong problem solving skills and the curiosity to explore new technologies for the firm and apply their research to current projects. They should possess the ability to simplify problems and create user-friendly solutions. Have an ability to fully manage and code all aspects of a software suite with multiple products and applications. The candidate will be responsible for various stages in software development including gathering requirements, design, implementation, testing, QA, user acceptance and deployment. S/he is expected to work with internal executives, technologist and sales team members and external clients in delivering robust and timely technology solutions. The candidate is expected to be able to lead or contribute substantially to discussions on requirements with end users, generating test plans and plan deployment. Responsibilities also include being familiar with industry standards in application development and possess and ability to mentor junior team members.Requirements:At least 6 years of full experience designing, programming, deploying applications with: VB.NET, C#, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) / WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), Visual Studio, SQL, ASP/HTML. Full life cycle experience having designed, programmed, deployed and maintained several .NET WinForm based programs using TYPED datasets, data-adapters, SQL, file system, .NET Webservices. Experience developing ASP.NET applications using SQL server, themes, styles sheets, master pages, and Javascript. Strong understanding of internet networking technologies and capabilities of managing Microsoft-based services.Additional experience that is not required but preferred includes: Infragistics, IP Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, RDP, HTTPS, SSL, IIS, SQL, Microsoft Indexing Services, Active Directory, Exchange, experience in building and managing Streaming networks and applications - Windows Media Services, Windows Media Encoder, Windows Media Server, Real, Flash, Quicktime.This is a full time employment opportunity.
