Robert Half Technology is recruiting for an Oracle e-Business DBA Project Leader for a contract-to-hire opportunity here in Midtown Manhattan. The candidate must have an extensive background in Oracle e-Business Suite systems (Oracle Financials) and able to participate in all phases of project including analysis, detail design, coding, data migration(ETL), testing and deployment. Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle RDBMS, UNIX, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Financial Systems. Coding experience in SQL, PL/SQL and Shell scripting is required. Experience in performance optimization tuning and coding techniques.
REQUIREMENTS:
*The person should have the experience with the following skills to effectively support the environment
* Installation, configuring and maintenance of multiple Oracle e-Business Suite R12 environments in PROD, TEST, Integration and DEV environments
* Candidate will have strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
* Proven skills to lead a small team in the support of EBS including, planning, delegation, strong sense of ownership and responsibility, perform staff evaluations, mentoring skills.
* Plan production deployments for the Oracle Applications 12i environment
* Plan and implement timely upgrade/patches to the Oracle Applications system and RDBMS
* Perform migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle.
* Administer all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
* Perform impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
