Summary: :<br></p>
This position installs, configures, and supports an organization's Windows Network Environment. Administer and Maintain Windows Active Directory 2003 environment and Support Exchange 2003. General (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems support. Manages and Maintains Active Directory Domain Controllers, and User environment for multiple sites. Maintains hardware and software. Monitors Active Directory proactively to ensure availability to all systems and users Performs necessary maintenance, Troubleshooting and diagnostics to support network availability, Assists Unix/Linux system Administrator to maintain, Hardware installation and user support in Sun/Unix environment. :<br></p>

*Researches technology trends and indentifies areas for improvement based on recommended best practice. :<br></p>
*Establishes/recommends policies on system use and services. :<br></p>
*Must be able to work autonomously with little supervision. :<br></p>
*Must be a task-oriented, problem-solver. :<br></p>
*Must be able to take lead on IS related projects. :<br></p>
*Monitors network security and events. :<br></p>
*Maintains a reliable backup and disaster recovery plan and reports. :<br></p>
*Assists users with problems and issues related to hardware and software. :<br></p>
*Assists & work together with Unix/Linux system administrators and vendors to maintain OS, hardware. :<br></p>

Experience: Qualifications: :<br></p>
-Bachelors degree in MIS or Computer Science required:<br></p>
-5+ years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience :<br></p>
-Advanced Knowledge of Active Directory 2003:<br></p>
-Advanced knowledge of Windows scripting and Group Policy. :<br></p>
-Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. :<br></p>
-General Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems. :<br></p>
-Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. :<br></p>
-Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. :<br></p>
-Good basic concept knowledge & understanding Unix/SUN OS Solaris, Linux environment. :<br></p>
-Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. :<br></p>
-Attention to detail and thorough in completing work tasks required/assigned. :<br></p>
