Business Analyst With Capital Markets & Data Skills in New York, NY

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst for our client, a major investment bank, on a long term consulting role based out of their Midtown location.This role sits in a group that is part of clients Operational Data Store (ODS), so you will need similar experience (ie works with a lot of data, understands data mappings, works with credit risk, data warehousing, Basel II). You will be working on several different initiatives including enhancements and merger and transition work.Required Experience/Skills:Capital Markets and/or Credit Risk project experience (5-7 years minimum).Experience with requirements gathering, data feed specifications, high-level functional designs and data mapping specification designs.Skilled with MS Office, SQL and data analysis.SDLC methodology and waterfall project experience.Beginner knowledge of Datamodelling concepts.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Proactive and dedicated team player.Preferred Experience/Skills:Experience working on Basel II, data management, data warehousing, ETL or Back Office projects.Experience with Quality Center and TOAD tools.This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team.
