Sr. Web Technologist/Lead in Melville, NY

Oversees the design development and implementation of primarily web based business systems. Ensures the preparation of project requirements and establishes project schedules and planning in conjunction with end user management. Submits project cost, time, resource and staffing estimates as appropriate for approval. Develops/implements approved projects to increase department efficiency on an ongoing basis. Ensures that projects effectively address business needs/direction and follow the company SDLC. Reviews the performance of existing IT application systems/resources, determines future needs, business solutions. Participates in the evaluation of external vendor products/services and recommends their purchase/use as appropriate. Plans and oversees integration/implementation activities as required. Keeps abreast of new technological developments and provides necessary technical advice/guidance to IT management and staff.
