In this influential role overseeing M&T Bank’s distributed applications, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Application Development and support. You will lead a technology group in the conception and implementation of bank-wide technology solutions. Build the "Branch of the Future": You will be instrumental in re-engineering sales and service solutions for M&T’s 700 retail branches and call center environment by developing, recommending and implementing plans that encompass expense and/or revenue opportunities for the bank. Lead a Progressive Team: You will foster a "career-enriching" experience for a team of up to 80 talented professionals who are responsible for delivering new solutions, enhancing existing systems/processes and ensuring exemplary day-to-day execution. Develop a Strategic Roadmap: You will manage the continuance and improve technology plans for key strategic business units within the organization that span three or more years in support of the bank’s business/operations objectives. Your breadth of experience will influence and help to shape other areas within Central Technology. Improve Project Life-Cycle You will participate in enhancing M&T’s project life cycle with a goal of improving time to market and break fix costs by 20%. What You Need to Succeed: 10+ years experience in leading and guiding a successful team Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline Highly experienced in systems development, bank integrations, conversions, and production problem resolution Complete understanding of application design/architectures In-depth knowledge of Internet applications Expertise in dealing with offshore associates Technological specialization in branch and call center systems as well as banking application experience is highly desired To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
