Knowing how to update APARS on a system and how to gather information 4) Kernel configuration and Security setting configuration through PAM.D 5) Network management - how to add/delete/modify interface cards, checking for speed/duplex settings, troubleshooting 6) UserID Management - adding, deleting, modifying users.
