Global Financial Institution located in New York has an immediate opening for a 3x Data Management Senior Project Manager. Experience: 5-10 Education: Bachelors Degree Job Description: Senior Project with strong project and leadership skills. Lead project to fabricate test data that will validate scaled volume that mimic times current production volume. This includes reference, history and current activity that spans current production applications. Data must be able to be re-generated/re-initialized based on testing needs. Data generation algorithms must be able to adapt to requirement changes as necessitated by code changes. Manage project plan, milestones, all project deliverables Interview SMEs, understand detail tasks, create detail project plans. Track to plan for all work streams. Coordinate with teams for data generation dependencies across production applications. Coordinate with multiple teams. Manage worskstream dependencies, issues and risks. Manage project and status reporting and financials. Skills Required: Strong project management experience is a must Data or Infrastructure project management experience (as opposed to application development project management) The candidate should be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, also have strong communication skills. Experience running projects that span multiple groups (5 or more) with resource counts in the 50s. Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project Financial experience required, some Retail Brokerage experience a plus 5-8 years experience running large projects. Skills Desired: Certifications are optional.
