A well known financial company based out of New York City is looking for a Project Coordinator with Equities experience. Specific responsibilities of this role are: Assist ITS project manager(s) in on-going technology/business project initiatives Monitor project requirements, priorities, impacts and deadlines Creative, flexible, articulate and original thinker with excellent analytical skills. Job will involve frequent analysis with large quantitles of data (usage stats, client information etc.) and prepare summarized views. Should be open to analyse legacy systems, document findings and participate in requirements discussions. Experience: Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelors degree required. 4-6 years of work experience, including 2+ years in technology business analysis. Excellent Word and Excel skills are required. Knowledge of MS Access and SQL will be an advantage Good understanding of technology (both hardware and software) Self-motivated, highly-focused, detail-oriented as well as a team player with high energy levels and the desire to learn and progress within the company. Good communications skills (both verbal and written) to build trusting partnership with ITS project manager(s) & technology team members. Ability to summarize/explain/present requirements and technology solutions in non-technical terms. Experience with Equity Research systems - authoring, workflow & distribution will be a plus.
