Job Title: Supplier Development and Purchasing Manager Location: East Aurora, NY Direct Position Job Description • Develop and execute strategic supply chain design plans for each product line. • Lead purchasing efforts to improve on-time delivery, cost reduction, and quality of all products and services. • Establish clear procedures for the planning, purchasing, and manufacturing of products for all product lines within the division. These include management of forecasts, creation of purchase orders, execution of internal work orders, and maintenance of schedules. • Coach and mentor staff within the supply chain organization. Must have the skills and capability required to supervise and manage direct reports. • Proven general capabilities in materials management, contracting, and dealing with suppliers. • Demonstrated skills in leadership, communications, and strategy development. Required skills: • BA or BS degree in the field of Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. Experience: • 8+ years of progressive experience in the field of materials management, purchasing, program management, operations, engineering, or supply chain.
