Global Financial Institution located in New York, NYhas an immediate opening for a Business/Data Analyst. Experience: 5-10 Education: Bachelors Degree Job Description: This position is within the Enterprise Data Group (EDG) - Brokerage Legal Entity team. The team is responsible for Brokerage Legal Entity reference data, related processes and manages the firm-wideLegal Entity platform (LEXI). The candidate will be involved in strategic projects working to establish and expand services for Brokerage Legal Entity data and processes. In this capacity, the candidate will liaise with internal clients at Brokerage regarding business processes and interface directly with various technology groups in implementation of application changes. This position requires experience in process re-engineering, familiarity with technology development lifecycle and the ability to work closely with end users and IT to implement new processes or enhancement of current processes. The candidate will determine the requirements of the stakeholder groups, propose solutions to meet the need, manage the implementation of the solution, and actively manage the integration projects with the LEXI application and the Reference Database hub and various stakeholder applications. Working independently and as part of a team is critical in this role. The candidate must have the ability to independently manage projects/project streams of varying size and complexity as well as conduct any associated analysis and implementation work. Skills Required: The role requires both analytical and technical skills. Familiar with all stages of the development life cycle including analysis, design, development, deployment and support. Interest and proficiency in working with large and disparate data and sources. Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with a can-do approach and strong client focus. Methodical problem solving. Team player.
