The Enterprise Architect(s) will focus either on Web and Security architecture OR on Data Analysis and Reporting Architecture and will define, develop and design the enterprise application and enterprise system architecture to effectively support and achieve our business objectives, while providing vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving abilities. This individual will oversee the building of the company's overall computing environment critical to both business and IT success. Will direct and oversee the evolution of the enterprises application and system enterprise architecture, with a focus on current and future business objectives. Take the business vision and direction and derive the IT architecture from it. Participates in the development and maintenance of a formal Information Architecture Plan and Vision. Provide IT with a roadmap to support the business vision and direction. Researches, collects, and reports information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Aids in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfil the needs of customers. The IT architecture group will keep a high level view that takes into account applications, data formats and hardware platforms and be able to articulate how they interact. Provide support and recommendations on policies and procedures to the IT management team as required. Help business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency. With a passion for problem solving, the Enterprise Data Architect must have a rich understanding of applications, data and hardware and will work closely with senior level management and business process leaders to align IT activities with business objectives. Will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and overall customer satisfaction at the mid-management and senior staff levels of the organization. Will be required to perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or healthcare administration. Master's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience that provides the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the essential functions of the position will be considered. Six years of progressive IT experience, technical background or four years experience with a Master's degree. Advanced knowledge in computer science with a high degree of mastery of systems analysis and design techniques. Experience with multiple hardware platforms, application packages and operating systems. Strong leadership skills. Technical expertise. Expertise in multiple managed care business functions (processes). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of and/or experience with a formal quality program. Proven ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment. Exceptional customer service orientation.
