Start Date: October 12, 2009 Recruiter: Peter Roos Phone: 627-5020 x208 Job Description Job Title: EVS Structured Securities Analyst Location: New York , New York Length: Perm Salary: $145-165K, plus bonus The primary responsibility of this position will be to evaluate all SubPrime and Alt-A/B, scratch-and-dent and HELOC securities. The candidates must understand the deal structure and the knowledge of how to stress deals by generating scenarios to perform a multi-path cash flow analysis of the optionally of the securities. After performing this analysis, the candidate needs to create an appropriate set of prepayment, defaults and delinquency vectors, along with a yield, to derive a current value. A significant part of the day will be devoted to monitoring market activity, analyzing deal specific cash flows and collateral performance, reviewing Rating Agency actions, adjusting the evaluation model to reflect current market levels and reviewing surveillance reports. The candidate will also be responsible for resolving client's price challenge inquiries in a timely manner. The flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in the evaluation group is also essential. Experience and Skills: The candidate should have a minimum of five to seven years experience evaluating structured products. Knowledge of Fixed Income Markets Working knowledge of IntexNet Strong quantitative, analytical and judgment skills. Ability to work as a part of a team and independently, under various time constraints. Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills. Maintain and develop market contacts.
