Serves as an integral member of an enterprise-wide testing team, and is responsible for following established standards and best practices, and reporting testing results clearly and accurately. Essential Assignment Functions: Lead testing on medium - large-scale projects; including creation of testing documentation, detailed testing schedule, coordinating & supporting IT and Business testing resources Participates in requirements gathering / reviews, and designs, develops and executes manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality of core applications and systems. Performs risk assessment, impact analysis and works with technical and business personnel to resolve issues and develop mitigation plans. Acts as initial point of escalation for project testing issues, documents defects and works with developers, business users and project team to resolve issues. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance issues as they exist and change from time to time. Performs other related duties as assigned Experience: Special Skills/Qualifications: . 7+ years test analyst experience in an IT organization. . 5+ years leading test efforts on medium-large scale projects and coordinating test resources. . Ability to "lead" and facilitate through testing life cyle process . Macess, Facets, and Lawson experience . Knowledge of SQL. Working knowledge of automated testing framework using HP / Mercury Interactive tool set. . Formal best practice (ie. ITIL, CMMi, etc.) experience, or Software Testing Certification . Excellent understanding of healthcare delivery system with experience testing in healthcare field. . In depth knowledge and thorough understanding of formal testing methodologies and best practices. . Experienced in testing large business system updates and changes and working multiple projects simultaneously. . Excellent project management, time management, troubleshooting and analytical skills. . Highly self-motivated and directed, with exceptional customer service orientation and a dedication to meeting deadlines and ensuring quality delivery. . Excellent interpersonal skills: (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mentoring), with strong verbal and written communication skills. . Proven ability to interact with all levels of business, technical and end users. Must be able to join Ajilon Consulting as a W2 employee only, no H1B or transfers.
