Software Application Developer in Somers, NY

DESCRIPTION Under direct supervision, the Developer will assists in the analysis, design, programming, and modification of computer programs for software products and/or customer applications. The Consultant will write code and complete programming, testing, and debugging of applications. He/she will finalize forms, procedures, and documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs. May interface with marketing and users to add new or custom features to company products. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering Analytical thinker with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills A successful candidate must be able to maintain focus on work, drive for results Shell Scripting, and Windows SQL knowledge a must 3 years of line of business mobile application development experience using Java 2 years experience testing application software Experience, collecting and document business requirements. Experience using Visual Source Safe is a plus Experience programming in C and/or C# a plus Experience using Mercury Quality Center a plus Some travel (10%) may be required.
