Algorithmic QA Tester 6months New York Banking. Our client a global investment bank is seeking highly skilled QA Engineer/Test Analyst to work within the Equities trading tea. The Test Analyst will come from a strong banking background and be looking to enter into a fast paced and results focussed environment as you will be sitting on the trading floor with the quant analysts.The Test Analyst will develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test procedures. Install, configure, and maintain the hardware and software of the QA environment. Analyse and reproduce issues reported by the business users. Write test plans and cases for one or more functional areas including functional test scripts for the algorithmic equities trading platform. The Test Analyst will set up the test environment, executing the tests and logging results and defects to then review and reproduce with the engineers to get them resolved. The Test Analyst will work closely with developers and users to determine root causes and help establish severity and scope to guide prioritisation for resolution by the software engineers.
