Our client is the leading provider of Enterprise application software solutions currently looking to hire a full time client consultant. The ideal candidate comes from a Consulting background and is familiar with at least one of the following: : Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), Business Intelligence (BI), Business Process Management (BPM), performance management, Business Service Management (BSM), business transaction monitoring. This is a virtual home office position. Candidates must be located within an hour from a major airport along the east coast (NY Metro preferred). This position required 75% travel. Responsibilities Gather business and user needs through interviewing and other relevant techniques Analyze user and business needs while driving the products value. Liaison with the companys technical staff. Analyze aspects of clients business activities, identifying key success factors and building a functional design. Working with the Analysis Lead on the application design Assist with the creation and updating of user documentation (user guide, operational procedures) Assist with preparation and delivery of the client training member of the team that builds and implements the solution ensuring, end-to-end, that the delivered solution meets the value objectives Support end-users during Warranty period, UAT and Go-Live Responsible for functional change requests during projects Support the Project Manager on end-user functional aspects Work closely with the Client Services team Validating functional aspects of the solution prior to delivery and transferring knowledge to end-users (both training and user documentation). Back-up the pre-sales team on a need basis. This includes but not limited to technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers, taking part in the products Proof of Concept. Comply with the firms standards, processes and best practices. Required Technical Skills (must-have): Business requirements analysis experience for complex software application development 5+ years of experience in software, Information Technology, or consulting industry 2+ years of experience performing business analysis Knowledge and experience with one or more standard analysis technique (e.g. Use Cases) Object-oriented database and software development exposure Superior analytical skills Desired Skills (nice-to-have): Practical knowledge of banking processes. Prior experience in one or more of the following domains: Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), Business Intelligence (BI), Business Process Management (BPM), performance management, Business Service Management (BSM), business transaction monitoring. Working in an environment with agile methodologies ( XP and Scrum) Required Personal Skills (must-have): Superior customer interaction skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
