What you'll be doing:- Research, develop, and implement advanced bio-imaging algorithms applied to the field of Cancer Pathology. - Primary responsibilities include medical imaging algorithms research and development, system design, and software development. - Working with scientists, pathologists and other medical imaging professionals to formulate methodologies and algorithms in the measurement of morphological and histological properties of cancer tissue.- Use your experience with image processing to account for hardware and other optical and mechanical variations in captured images. - Rely heavily on your experience with machine vision and machine learning in order to reliably extract meaningful feature data from capture microscope images.- Responsible for reviewing user requirements, writing technical specifications, writing code, documenting the execution of any testing and validation, and integrating related tools.
