Java Developer Experienced Contractor to analyze business customer needs to build eCommerce requirements for new and updated processes. Design, develop, test and implement new interfaces, transactions, and application flows to solve business problems. Manage and support existing interfaces and processes using complex analytical skills to ensure proper information flow. Required 5 years software development experience, including Java, XML, XML schema. Required 3 years experience in EDI. Preferred 2 years experience with MQSeries on distributed platforms e.g., AIX, Windows . Required Knowledge and understanding of EDI standards ANSI X12, UCS, VICS. Required Experience with an EDI mapping tool. Websphere Data Interchange WDI is preferred Required Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. Plus Experience with the retail industry, Websphere Application Server WAS , J2EE, AIX, MVS.
