Quality Assurance Systems Architect/Developer in New York, NY

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Systems Architect/Developers for an 18 month contract position in the New York City area. Experience: NOTE: CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET ALL MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR FURTHER EVALUATION Mandatory Requirements: . Hands-on, expert knowledge of Web development architectures and tools: J2EE, Java, Websphere Application Developer (WSAD), Struts, and DB2 and Oracle. . Working knowledge of infrastructure components: Websphere Application Server, a major RDMS, and integration with LDAP server for authentication. . Strong working knowledge of J2EE Design Patterns, Web Services, development / confirmation management tools (e.g., Rational Suite), standard SDLC methodologies (RUP a plus). . Review, formally evaluate through written and oral communication: software development processes, application software architecture designs, technical design requirements, traceability of business and technical requirements, code reviews, unit/system test cases, and application builds. Desirable Experience (Listed in order of importance): . Knowledge of: ASP, .NET, VBScript and II. . 5 or more years experience developing large Web-based applications as a developer or architect and 2 years of full SDLC implementations for a multi-tiered application with responsibility for technical design and development. . Understanding of accounting and budgeting functions or financial management systems. . Certifications in: Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE, Sun Certified Developer for J2EE Technology, Sun Certified Web-Component Developer for J2EE Platform, or IBM Certified Application Developer Education: BA or Masters Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field from a recognized college or university.
