Senior UNIX Administrator in New York, NY

Requirements: Solaris, Linux, IGP, EGP, VoIP, QoS, IP Duties and Responsibilities: * Extensive knowledge of multiple UNIX operating systems, including Solaris and Linux. * Solid understanding of the IGP and EGP routing protocols. * Enterprise-level network design. * Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise-class routers and switches (Cisco experience a plus). * Superior understanding of network routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, and MPLS). * Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis. * In-depth understanding of network security and access control. * Experience with VoIP, QoS, and IP Telephony technologies. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Creative problem-solving abilities. * Strong programming and scripting ability. * Excellent verbal and written skills. * A computer science or engineering degree.
