Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for an Application Developer to fill a contract position at a customer site in Groton, CT. This is an assignment though October 2006 with the possibility of extension. Approximately 15% travel is expected with 10% domestic and 5% Asia. Position will most likely require overtime. Client has a need for a senior consultant with technical experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM version 3.0, a Microsoft customer relationship management (CRM) system, and Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software. A software engineer is needed for a large mobile customer relationship project. Microsoft CRM has the ability to create a centralized repository of customer data that sits neatly alongside Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office Outlook. From Outlook, employees access Microsoft CRM sales, marketing, and customer service modules to make sales decisions, market products, solve problems, and get strategic views of the business. Windows Mobile is a compact operating system combined with a suite of basic applications for mobile devices based on the Microsoft Win32 API. Devices which run Windows Mobile include Pocket PCs, Smartphones, and Portable Media Centers. It is designed to be somewhat similar to desktop versions of Windows.Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software provides mobile information workers with efficient and secure access to information by the use of hand held devices. Functionality includes persistent memory storage that retains information even when the device's battery is depleted, Microsoft Office software for Windows Mobile, and security features such as Bluetooth authorization and end-to-end encryption over a virtual private network.Windows Mobile 5.0 has gone through extensive threat-modeling testing and completed the rigorous Microsoft Trustworthy Computing full security review.
