C++ Programmer/Analyst (Full Time) in Newburgh, NY

Successful candidate will possess an AS/BS in computer science/related field or equivalent experience; at least 3 years experience in C++ application development for Windows using Borland C++ Builder and the VCL (required); technical leadership background; knowledge of object-oriented concepts; familiarity with Microsoft Word; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with SQL, ODBC, Win32 APIs, VB, DB2, data queues, the IBM iSeries, Visual SourceSafe, or Citrix would be a plus. Experience: Newburgh-based law firm is seeking a C++ Programmer/Analyst. Responsibilities will include: overseeing the design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of various client/server systems; working with users to analyze business requirements and develop system requirement specifications; converting system designs and technical specifications into program code; training key end users and support staff on use of applications; creating and maintaining technical and operational documentation.
