This is an 18-month contract position in Albany, NY for a Technical Writer. Mandatory requirements include: a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience analyzing and understanding verbal and written documentation and procedures. Preferred experience includes: 4 years of progressive experience working with project staff (both program and technical staff) architecting, design, authoring technical designs for a large complex Client Server environment using an N-tiered methodology based on a defined user requirement; 4 years of progressive experience working with project staff (both program and technical staff) developing both the client and the middle tier software for a large complex Client Server environment (using an N-tiered methodology), using Visual Basic on a defined technical design; 3 years experience working with an integral large complex Client Server application using VB and, in part, interacting with FCP version 4.1 (Foundation for Cooperative Processing) modules; 3 years experience working with a SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System) based system as part of the Application Development organization; good communication and interpersonal skills.
