PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Consultant will be responsible for modifying existing programs and developing new programs in Java programming language to support the development of an eFiling Application using the Departments BISWeb Application.MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: MUST have expertise in designing and developing Web-based Applications using Java and use of Apache Tomcat Application Server.8 or more years experience in Web-based Application Development.DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Use of XML Interfaces.Familiarity with designing/developing eCommerce Applications.Familiarity with developing Java in both Windows and Linux/UNIX environments.Familiarity with developing web applications in one additional programming language (it doesnt matter which one).Experience with public sector application processes.Required Skills: Java, Apache Tomcat Application Server, Web-based Application Development.This 20+ month position starts ASAP.
