Responsibilities: Design and coordinate all aspects of production and test environments to support the Facets reconfiguration, with the possibility of running multiple instances of Facets.
* This IS NOT a development position - the individual will be doing very high level design / architecting work for the impacted system interfaces. EG: they will design the solution for how Facets talks to SFA, our sales application, for how Facets interacts with PeopleSoft for general ledger purposes, and so forth. They will be weaving together all of the impacted technology to ensure that the final interface solution is engineered correctly.
Experience: Requirements: this individual should have strong knowledge of multiple OS (AIX, Windows ideally), multiple DBMS (Sybase, SQL Server, DB2 ideally), and how we would leverage use of MQ and WebSphere. They must come with experience in a large organization with responsibility for enterprise-wide solutions architecture.
* Must have excellent communication skills to negotiate with system and database administrators for desired results, to negotiate a solution with Inergex where their work is impacted by this project, and to leverage departmental resources to build a production and test environment.
*It is not important that they understand Facets or claims systems specifically as the SME's can provide that level of detail. What is more important is that this individual has experience architecting solutions in a large, complex environment where one system generates tens of thousands of transactions per day across multiple systems.
* Knowledge of SOA (service oriented architecture) is a must
