Job Title: QA/ Application developer for Fixed Income

Job Description
The position requires a technical lead to oversee the implementation & support of all fixed Income trading systems. The job entails understanding business requirements, working with vendors and the internal IT team to developing solutions to meet the business requirements.
Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the working on testing & deploying enhancements to the fixed Income trading systems. This includes working with vendors, IT & ECNs to develop solutions required by the business. It includes performing requirement analysis and adding functionality to the products.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with Fixed Income trading systems. Experience with ION, Winfits, MMI, Bloomberg, Reuters-RTFI is a plus
- Experience with Fixed Income ECNs-ESpeed, Garban, Tradeweb etc.
- A background in architecting, trade flows & STP for Fixed Income systems.
- Ability to work with vendors
- Ability to work with business and product leaders to understand their key drivers and help them understand how technology tradeoffs should influence their strategy.
- Ability to clearly document and communicate objectives, requirements and designs at these different levels of abstraction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related area.- Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux
- Experience with automated testing tools
Job functions:
- Manage & support FI products.
- Manage the applications beyond security and administration duties
- Handle ad hoc and day to day business requests
- Administer & work with other teams to handle all batch processing and be able to handle job failures.
- Work with vendors to patch, upgrade and repair platforms
- Work with users to certify upgrades & patches in UAT
- Develop test plans
