Responsibilities:Theindividual will be responsible for:- Analysis, design, development and documentation of an Order Management System and connectivity.- S/He will split time in Understanding the existing software within the firm and coming up with a roadmap for future development and strategy for the firm's Equity and Fixed Income Order Management and connectivity.- Responsible for software system architecture, technical design, core creation, documentation for financial transaction system.- Key Requirements/Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a financial industry. Technical Skills: Strong middleware expertise in the area of TCP/IP, Multi Threading, Distributed computing,Real time Transaction/order management processing,Fix protocol,C++, Java,Unix/Linux.
Experience: The absolute minimum requirement includes:Five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or Systems Analyst. The five (5) years of required experience must have included work with development, implementation, and production deployment of applications,including performance optimizations in a Unix environment (i.e. Solaris, Red Hat, etc.), networking, middleware(i.e. CORBA, rendezvous, sockets, etc.), C++, Java, and work with process instrumentation analysis tools (i.e. purify, quantify, etc.). Business exposure to Fixed Income and/or Equities trading platforms.
