Our midtown based client is looking for a Senior .Net Developer, who will be responsible for designing and delivering mission critical business applications for enterprise clients using Microsoft .Net technologies. This role has responsibility for understanding client business and technical requirements and then delivering appropriate end-to-end solutions consisting of component-based, services-oriented applications developed using the .Net Framework and complementary Microsoft technologies.
This role requires strong software development knowledge and subject matter expertise with topics such as Web-driven application design and enterprise integration, relational database design, application architecture, security design and software development methodologies and processes.
Responsibilities
- Work with staff to elicit business requirements and consult on specific project needs and strategies.
- Design a scalable architecture to meet these goals both now and in the future.
- Build projects to specification and timescale adhering to the SDLC
- Redevelop legacy systems from ASP 2 to ASP.net.
- Develop data analysis capabilities.
- Perform integration work with current media systems.
- Write technical specifications and provide technical diagrams of all new development efforts.
- Create and promote best practices on standards of programming style and technique
