Manages projects to successfully deliver solutions for the business.
Major Responsibilities
? Guides projects through the project management process to achieve successful implementation. Delivers projects that meet the requesters needs and are completed on time and within budget.
? Prepare all project management deliverables scope documents, requirements, project plans, test plans, communication plans, etc
? Keeps project stakeholders informed. Uses any tools that are appropriate. These include project status reports, meeting minutes, and face to face briefings.
? Performs business analysis. Works with the business to understand their requirements. Draws on a strong knowledge of the financial services industry to translate these needs into system and project requirements. Reduces the ambiguity between needs and capabilities, often by working directly with the application vendors to determine their systems capabilities and apply them to the situation at hand.
? Prepares resource forecasts. Works with project team to develop work breakdown structure and create estimates of the time needed to complete deliverables.
? Identify and manage risks. Recognize issues and proactively create ways to mitigate their impact. Escalate to the project sponsor when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or related discipline
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience managing technology projects in the financial industry
Experience as a Business analyst for technolgoy projects
