Job Description / Deliverables:
Senior Manager of MDM Design
**
Lead design, development and deployment of MDM architecture components
**
Research issues, develop the architectural design document,
and review with peers and SAS Strategic Architects.
**
Build a roadmap for rollout that shows impact to current architecture, infrastructure requirements, etc.
**
Lead hand off of design to outsourced vendor who will build to the design specs developed by this architect
**
Review testing results
**
Manage deployment into the production environment
**
Training MDM engineering teams on use and maintenance of the services developed.
**
Architectural high level design
**
Service/component detailed design
**
Best practices overview for development of the component
**
Pre-release readiness report
Must Have Skills / Experience:
** BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or BA and 10 years progressive relevant experience.
**
8-10 years of experience as an Enterprise-level architect or global, large-scale data warehouse architect.
** Data warehousing, SOA services, job schedulers/controllers, infrastructure design, capacity planning, disaster recover, security.
**
DataStage experience required (5 year min)
** Siperian experienced heavily preferred.
** Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate/mentor effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations with strong skills in leading/controlling/organizing technical meetings
