Our client, a financial services company based in Westchester County is looking for a senior level Software Quality Assurance professional who will have responsibility for managing, planning and executing SQA test event activities during all phases of the SDLC. Responsibility will include the hands-on development of SQA test scripts, automation, performance and execution of SQA system test scripts. This position reports into the SQA Director and will have overall responsibility for managing developers from a QA perspective. Responsibilities include:
. Building status reports by helping to track: test case development and execution, bug-defect tracking and reporting, integration, UAT, regression testing
. Providing statistical and technical analysis of test data to determine that testing activities provide adequate test effort and test coverage.
. Uses statistical analysis techniques and tools to identify and report on testing trends and helps to project teams to identify new or revised action planes based on trend analysis.
. Ability to use SQA best practices to identify practices within project teams that do not contribute to their efficiency and overall success.
. Runs SQA metrics for projects using approved tools and methods.
We are looking for a hands-on SQA professional, with 5+ years of directly related experience, who has a solid understand of SQA processes and methodologies. Qualified candidate will have extensive experience working with software project life cycles and SQA testing framework architecture.
