BASIC FUNCTION:
As part of M&T’s Consumer Lending Operations, the MIS Analyst III will be responsible for the system administration of the Columbia Ultimate System, which supports all post charge-off recovery accounts and all overdraft NSF deposit collection activity pre and post charge-offs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Administration of System encompasses: ensuring daily interface files are sent and received daily, completion of day-end processing and taking appropriate actions in the event daily processing does not complete successfully. Oversees all workflow strategies the system, routine duties such as file transfers and uploads. Responsible for implementation of any CU System upgrades, encompassing testing of the system.  Also coordinates testing of CU System for any host application changes:  Shaw, Hogan/DDA, etc. Responsible for reporting and database maintenance.  Provides all report generation, developing highly specialized reports when necessary. Analyzes data pertaining to department, developing spreadsheets/reports and making recommendations for submission to management. May be LAN administrator. Perform other assignments/projects as requested by management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or above in a technical field of study or 5 years professional level experience in a related technical environment Three to five years experience in Systems Administration, LAN Administration, Database Administration.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience with Columbia Ultimate (CUBS). Specialization or thorough knowledge of personal computers, mainframe applications, and the various software programs utilized by department.
Current/prior banking experience
Knowledge of Shaw & Hogan systems
