BASIC FUNCTION:The Project Manager would be responsible for providing complex, non-routine analytical, technical and operational project management support for M&T Investment Group. RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will act as a project manager to implement Unified Managed Account (UMA) architecture. Maintain and manage large-scale issues. Develop test plans and scripts; performs client testing for routine to moderately complex processes to ensure proper system functioning. Ensures adherence to all current project methodology standards and procedures, including all documentation requirements. Reviews business requirements and may assist in writing/translating requirements. Directs the development of test plans and scripts; coordinates the completion of integrated testing efforts. Directs and monitors resources; ensures completion of schedules. Completes status reports and presents deliverables for project milestones to senior management. Recognizes technical, business and operational impacts of a project. Brings issues to resolution and escalates issues or concerns to the Sr Project manager. Schedules and facilitates project meetings, publishes meeting minutes, tracks impact and issue documents. Effectively communicates and develops a professional level of cooperation across the organization. Initiates or participates in the request for proposal process, including vendor management.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in an applicable field such as Business, Finance, Statistics or Five to seven years experience in field. Excellent analytical skills with expert knowledge of development processes and technical concepts. Excellent data interpretation and workflow skills. Skilled proficiency in the use of spreadsheets, graphing, and presentations with a working knowledge of financial models. Excellent communication skills to be able to present to a target audience Experience on large system enhancements, conversions and production problem resolution. Excellent problem solving skills to assist in detecting potential issues and issue resolution.Requires strong judgment and excellent project management skillsIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: MBA a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time Keeps abreast of the Bank's businesss plan and strategic objectives
