Application development - responsible for analyzing application requirements and designing new applications as well as enhancements to existing applications using Microsoft development tools such as Visual Basic, .Net, and other related web development tools. <br>
Report writing using Crystal Reports, SQL, SQL Reporting Services and other reporting tools. <br>
Technical Support - Support for ERP application running on SQL Server 2000. Coordinate with vendor for resolution of support issues related to ERP system. Troubleshoot any problems regarding the database, applications and development tools. <br>
Document application requirements, workflow, and other technical specifications. <br>
Creates and maintains databases required for development, testing, and production usage. <br>
Implement and utilize tools to administer ongoing performance and resource tuning of the database instances supported. <br>
Assist with planning and implementation of application and database upgrades. <br>
Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database. <br>
Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the applications and databases. <p>

Experience: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer. Must have experience with stored procedures, views and triggers. <br>
Experience with Visual Studio .Net, VB6 and other related Microsoft development tools including web development with ASP and ASP.Net and experience with Visual Source Safe. <br>
General experience with IIS <br>
Experience designing reports using Crystal Reports <br>
Experience with MS Access <br>
Experience with implementing database and application updates through the various stages of the development life cycle. <br>
Experience with business process re-engineering and workflow analysis
Capable of delivering assigned projects with minimal supervision. <br>
Good written and verbal communication skills and an excellent technical aptitude. <p>
