Our client is looking for a fulltime Automated QA Tester. The ideal candidate will have Investment Banking experience, within Equities and Risk. The Equity Derivatives IT (EDIT) department is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of Information Technology for the global Equity Derivatives and Fund-Linked Products businesses.
The Equity Derivatives business has a large and ongoing programme of work which includes strategic re-engineering of its IT systems and architecture to meet the challenges of a major increase in trading volumes, as well as support for new trade types. The EDIT team builds, maintains and supports systems covering Trading. Risk Management, Trade Capture, Documentation, Sales and Marketing workflow and websites, and more.
The candidate will be joining the Operations and Support Team with dual roles for supporting and maintaining Results Database (RDB) and LOTS Risk Management system.
RDB is a results repository for PV, PnL and Risk data. It is used by front office risk management systems for what-if risk scenario, Price Testing and PnL attribution analysis. It caters for all downstream obligations for PnL and risk, servicing Product Control, Market Risk Management and Measurement, Credit Risk Management, Client Statements, and Collateral. RDB is a global system servicing Derivative businesses.
LOTS is a system that primarily provides analytics and pricing of options and other derivative products. Traders use the system through client applications to manage their risk.
RDB will be part of two major initiatives in UK and Asia Pacific respectively to migrate books from GTS to JANE and LOTS respectively
Experience: Must have QA automation experience with the following: QTP, Quick Test Pro, Test Director, Quality Centre, Load Runner, and Win Runner.
Must have Linux and Windows skill set.
Must have Extensive working knowledge in Manual and Automated tests.
Must have experience with creation of system monitoring tools.
Must have understanding of SDLC, perform Load, Black Box and White Box testing.
Must document defects with high level of detail, accuracy, and informative recreation steps.
Must have strong problem analysis, resolution skills, and ability to work in multi platform environments like Windows, UNIX, & Linux
Must be enthusiastic, proactive, and confident.
