Robert Half Technology is recruiting for an immediate MySQL DBA Guru for a 2-3 month project here in Midtown Manhattan. For the right candidate there is potential for this opportunity to go long term. Candidates should feel comfortable doing administration work, create tables, organize and optimize queries, fall over, and helping to model the companies data as well as go through their backlog. This person should be able to also show best practices/best ways to go about doing all the tasks above so they can become familiar too. Since this is a pure Linux shop, heavy Linux experience is a MUST.
