All candidates must be able to join Ajilon on a W-2 basis with no restrictions** SUMMARY IT Billing Software Analysts perform a wide variety of duties that relate to the various systems and functions of intermediation and billing of telecommunication services. They interact with business users and IT development teams. It is their responsibility to protect the revenue stream by ensuring complete and accurate billing. Functional tasks include: performing software quality assurance testing for all changes to the billing systems, developing and implementing appropriate product configurations and rate plans into the billing systems for all new marketing products, and developing and implementing billing quality assurance processes using the revenue assurance industry standards and techniques. Analysts dissect, separate, and examine the relationships of information through close investigation. Employees typically examine one or more phases of a particular company issue or opportunity in order to discover the nature, extent, and causes. Data/information is interpreted, translated, reported and meaningful conclusions are drawn. Recommendations made typically affect work results of a department/organization to a noticeable degree. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. SQA Software Quality Assurance Testing Identify test requirements. Develop test plans. Develop and perform manual and automated test scripts. Develop and document testing processes . Design and develop automation scripts & troubleshooting problems using QTP. Product Configuration Identify product billing requirements. Develop product configuration model. Determine possible development needs. Configure product/create rate plans. Develop and document product configuration/rate plan business rules. Billing Quality Assurance Daily monitoring and assurance of the revenue stream. Variance and root cause analysis. Error resolution and revenue recovery. Monitor key data as it moves through processes and systems to ensure integrity. Run queries and conduct analysis. Develop and maintain process documentation. Level II Billing Analysts have a solid knowledge of the systems and processes for which they are responsible. They are typically assigned projects that are medium in scope and complexity and occasionally assist on projects of large scope and complexity. The results of their work at times materially affect the revenue or costs of the company.
