A well Known financial services company based out of New York City is looking for a FIX Onboarding Manager. Duties: Candidate should have a track record of pushing through difficult tasks; persuasive/influential personality; people skills; crisis management skills Project Summary and Position Overview: The Transactions Platform Group, Sales & Trading Division have two openings for talented and experienced project managers to join a Customer Onboarding Unit in the Trading for Exchanges team. The team is responsible for onboarding customers to a number of FIX based hubs which allow for Order and Exchange based transactions. The hubs and products that fall under the responsibility of the Trading team are at the forefront of the Exchange Traded Instruments group strategy which makes these positions exciting and open to great success and recognition. Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities: As an "On-boarding Manager" with this Trading team you will be expected to quickly learn the business, systems and onboarding processes in place. Using strong project management and customer facing skills, you will be expected to built up strong customer relationships and manage a broad client portfolio. An On-boarding Manager must manage client expectations, co-ordinate internal and external teams, track the project and deliver in a timely and efficient manner to the customer's satisfaction. As part of that process, you will be expected to support and troubleshoot and connectivity issues, manager and execure certification testing and resolve and order routing worflow issues. While this is predominantly a client facing role, an On-boarding Manager will be expected to liaise with many internal groups including Development, Operations, Testing and Product Management. Experience: Education: University Degree Preferable Required Skills: Candidate must possess: - A solid knowledge of STP and FIX Protocol (versions 4.0 and 4.2) for Equities and Derivatives - A minimum of 4 years project management experience and 2 years working with FIX connectivity projects - In depth knowledge of the financial markets - Experience of working with Transactions based applications (in-house or external) - An understanding of Exchange Connectivity, IOI's, Algorithmic and DMA Trading - Pre-sales consultancy and technical/business gap analysis experience - Basic UNIX command line skills - Excellent written and verbal communication as well as a good client facing demeanour - Strong personal organisation and time keeping Desired Skills: - Knowledge of a second language PLEASE EMAIL RESUME IN MS WORD WITH SHORT SYNOPSIS OF MATCHING SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE.
