Due to our consistent growth and prosperity, we are looking to fill a key Project Manager role within our Technology Division of M&T Bank.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the management, planning, communication of status, tracking, documentation, test results and the implementation of technical aspects of business projects or  technology driven projects Performs complex analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies. Implements modifications to solve problems Consulting services would include providing system design suggestions, and recommendations for information systems solutions. Providing technical direction in the integration of new or existing technologies into the M&T computing environment. Acting as a principal participant for critical components and major efforts; effectively using organizational, interpersonal, analytical and technical skills, to evaluate client requirements and processes. Manages the development of project plans for any scope effort to include activities to be performed, estimated time frame and effort Reviews business requirements and may assist in translating requirements. May provide analytical support to other team members and client groups in defining system requirements Provides analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies to assist the client areas and Bank in meeting their short-term business goals and long term strategic objectives Able to evaluate and understand highly complex interrelationships and effects among software systems (distributed, mainframe), network, applications and platforms BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two to four year’s college with at least four to five years experience in project related work, systems analysis and a systems development environment Experience on large system enhancements, conversions and production problem resolution Requires familiarity with application development support software and hardware platforms Proficient with MS Office suite to include Excel, Access & ProjectSolid understanding of hardware platforms along with a well rounded technical background in mainframe, network and distributed computing environments Solid understanding of System Administration and concepts on Novell Netware and MS network operating system platformsSolid understanding of telecommunication networks, topologies and protocolsAbility to actively participate in technical task walkthroughs Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience Excellent analytical, problem resolution, organization and time management skills Demonstrates diplomatic negotiating skills and excellent interpersonal skills Requires strong judgment and excellent project management skills IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred Requires a complete understanding of multiple business area’s functions is preferred Good understanding of the Bank’s enterprise architecture Keeps abreast of the Bank’s business plan and strategic objectives Capable of learning new technical skills To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
