The McGraw-Hill Companies is one of the world's leading providers of information services and publishers of educational, business and professional information The position will partner with the Chief Information Officer ("CIO") and the senior Information Management leadership team in the development of strategy and communications for change as The McGraw-Hill Companies evolves as a digital force in the marketplace globally. It will support the overall expanded role of technology required to drive the global digital evolution successfully . Support the enterprise technology organization in the development of initiatives, services and processes in alignment with the segment business objectives. Assess strategic alignment, operational readiness, operational risk, and other factors to recommend prioritization of initiatives. Partner with individual functional areas of the enterprise technology organization to ensure the strategic alignment of their initiatives to specific business objectives; developing the communications to demonstrate connection and impact to the businesses. Participate in building business cases and recommend refinements to scope of initiatives to create alignment. Support the change strategy and communications development of large scale, critical technology initiatives across the enterprise such as Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP"), QA/QC Center of Excellence, Contingent Staffing Initiative and Global IBM Technology Study. Analyze and translate extensive technology metrics to demonstrate and communicate their effectiveness and business impact. Partner with human resources to develop and implement the change management plan and communications driving employee engagement OTHER REQUIRED ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage a team of two to three permanent and consulting staff members Estimated cost of overall enterprise change initiatives $75-100M Minimum of 10 years experience in a large, complex, global technology environment Demonstrated ability to understand and integrate clear and consistent messages from various work streams Demonstrated ability to utilize change management methodologies to drive business results Demonstrated ability to work will all levels of the organization to influence outcomes and gain broad buy-in Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate value and benefits of technical strategies and solutions to both IT and non-technical management MBA or master's level degree preferred To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
