Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Java Developer. Location: New York, NY Type of Position: Contract Experience of the repo, securities lending or collateral management business, while not required, will be desirable and the candidate will be expected to build an understanding of the business model. Skills Required: Strong experience of Java, primarily within server-side development.Strong track record in developing investment banking applications.Proven ability to deliver high-quality software working in multi-person teams.Self-starter, able to take high-level requirements and convert them into a working application.Experience using Spring.Experience of unit testing frameworks.Proven experience of relational databases.
