Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst. Type of Position: Contract Location: New York, NY Position Description The BA will liaise with key stakeholders in Firm Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Controllers, Legal and Compliance, Technology and other business area's to document business and functional requirements for technology driven solutions. Methodology is open for discussion. This individual will meet and describe requirements to the development staff. The individuals will also oversee the development of testing plans for these technology initiatives and will often oversee the execution of testing by an offshore QA team. Skills Required: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good negotiation skills Knowledge of an SDLC MS Office Suite, including Visio , Project and SharePoint Mercury QC tool Skills Desired: Experience in Risk Related functions in the Financial Sector Development background in JAVA and JAVA based technologies supporting Web development Data Modeling experience Data analysis skills Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree
