Responsibilities
Serve as an escalation point for the UNIX team Facilitate joint work efforts with other teams (network, windows, dbas) Propose and evaluate new technologies Guide individual team members with technical issues related to all technologies supported by the team (Solaris, TIM, TAM, LDAP, BMC Patrol, Tripwire, SUN and Veritas Cluster, SAN, etc) Create and manage processes and procedures related to UNIX operations support and project work Interface with the customer in order to advance projects.
