DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS SYSTEMS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST REQUIRED SKILLS: --Knowledge of Solaris 10 --Windows 2003 Server --Windows XP professional --TCP/IP --SFTP --Java execution Servers such as Web Logic --Understanding of web based applications and commercial networking DESIRED EXPERIENCE: --Firewalls --VPN --Routers and switches --IBM/MQ --Load balancers --Sun Clusters --Shell/Perl scripting DESCRIPTION: Help support all technical operations of the company, including an environment of clustered Solaris servers, Oracle Database, IIS and Web Logic Servers. Support will also be provided for customer/counterparty connectivity. Provide support for infrastructure development and construction as well as installation of hardware and software. Desktop support will be provided to developers and corporate staff. Support will also be provided for equipment such as telephone PBX, voice mail and security systems. Night and weekend work may be required.
